Standard Crane & Hoist LLC is a full service crane and hoist company. We specialize in the sales, assemby, installation, maintenance, load testing, and OSHA inspection of all brands of overhead cranes, hoists and winches, including all applications for these devices. Louisiana law requires all jobs in excess of $50,000 to be performed by a Licensed Contractor, our Contractor License # 47697.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:
At Standard Crane & Hoist dozens of services trucks hit the road at 7 AM every morning tending to our customers' overhead crane service and inspection needs. We pride ourselves on fast, efficient, and reliable service. Our customers rely on us to keep their cranes and hoisting equipment working up to the level that their business operations demand. When needed we work 7days a week, 24 hours a day to meet these requirements.
Standard Crane & Hoist is also the only company in the state of Louisiana that assembles new, custom designed single- and double-girder bridge cranes, as well as, custom designed jib cranes. We do this in our plants in Destrehan (New Orleans), Westlake (Lake Charles) and, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We then transport the units to your job-site and install them. Our trade area extends from Mobile, Alabama along the Gulf Coast through all of south Mississippi, through all of Louisiana, including central and north Louisiana, and into east Texas. Due to our large volume of business in the overhead crane and jib crane markets, we are also a major supplier of spare and repair parts for customers who maintain their own equipment.
Many of our repeat customers rely on Standard Crane & Hoist to build new overhead cranes to their building's custom specifications, and to modernize their old and/or obsolete crane and hoist equipment, controls, crane rails, and accessories. We regularly overhaul up to 50-ton bridge cranes that are up to 30 years old in our plant, installing state of the art variable frequency drives, new electric motors, new brakes, radio frequency controls, new bearings, and re-install the units at the customer location--all of this can be done within 4 weeks including blasting and new paint.
As an authorized CraneMart Dealer, we perform factory-authorized warranty and repair work on Yale, Lift-Tech, Shaw Box, Budgit, Chester, and other brands of hoists and cranes. We also offer comprehensive training services to insure that your crane operators are qualified to operate your overhead lifting equipment.
